Friday, March 2nd, 2012: The QE5 Single A ended the baseball drought by announcing their 2012 schedule today. The preseason is under way and clubs across the league will be headed off to spring training and exhibition play soon, followed shortly thereafter by the start of the regular season.

 | Aurora's Carrillo Takes 2011 Top Hitter Award
Friday, August 19th, 2011: The votes have been tallied and the winner of the QE5 Single A Top Hitter Award has been named. It was awarded today to Luis Carrillo from Aurora for his great year at the plate.
He put up some impressive numbers, including a .294 batting average and a .397 on-base percentage this year while racking up 19 doubles, 1 triple, 18 home runs, 54 RBIs and 55 runs scored.

| QE5A Top Pitcher Award Announced
Thursday, August 18th, 2011: Todd Howard finished off a fine season by taking home the QE5 Single A Top Pitcher Award today.
The Aurora hurler went 20-3 on the year, posting a 1.41 ERA. Howard also tallied 209 strikeouts in 178.1 innings and allowed opposing batters to hit only .154 against him.
