Friday, March 2nd, 2012: Baseball is back! The QE5 Double A divulged its 2012 schedule today as teams started making spring training preparations. It will be a long drive to the championship, but make no mistake, that drive begins today. Clubs will be faced with tough roster decisions in the coming weeks -- the performance of veterans, injuries and surprising play by newcomers could go a long way to determining that Opening Day roster.

 | QE5AA Announces Outstanding Batter Award
Friday, August 19th, 2011: The QE5 Double A Top Hitter Award has been picked for 2011 and the winner is Wheeling first baseman Rick Porter.
He finished his outstanding season with a .306 batting average, 104 hits, 28 home runs, 88 RBIs, .373 OBP and 71 runs scored.

 | Wheeling Wizards Hurler QE5AA's Premier Pitcher
Thursday, August 18th, 2011: Iain van Bennekom had a sensational 2011 season in the QE5 Double A. The Wheeling pitching machine has been proclaimed this year's Top Pitcher Award recipient.
This season van Bennekom starred with a 13-3 record. In 18 starts he gave up 85 base hits and struck out 88 in 106 innings with a 2.29 ERA.
