Friday, March 2nd, 2012: One season yields to another... and it is a time when a young man's fancy turns to baseball. The Boys of the Diamond will soon be here in all of their radiant glory to put some sparkle, purpose and meaning back into the lives of baseball fans everywhere. There will be many of those seemingly meaningless exhibition games, but they do have an important purpose -- to prepare teams for the coming regular season. The 2012 QE4 Double A schedule has been announced and the preseason starts today.

 | Ryan Tops Best Hitter List
Friday, August 19th, 2011: There was nobody hotter in the QE4 Double A this season as Tom Ryan attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance and came away with the Top Hitter Award for 2011.
The 24-year-old right fielder hit .386 while collecting 146 hits, 22 doubles, 2 triples, 36 home runs and 100 RBIs. He also scored 86 runs and posted a .435 on-base percentage.

 | 2011 QE4AA Top Pitcher Award Chosen
Thursday, August 18th, 2011: The 2011 QE4 Double A Top Pitcher Award winner is bullpen specialist José Guerra of the Birkenfeld Racers.
He appeared in 38 games and converted 25 saves in 26 save opportunities. The Birkenfeld reliever had a 3-1 mark with a 1.22 ERA.
