Friday, August 19th, 2011: Carlos Vázquez of Durham was a smashing success this year, winning the Top Hitter Award in the SE2 Double A.
He rattled fences and pitchers as he banged out a .265 average, logging 82 hits, 21 home runs, 63 RBIs and scoring 64 runs.

 | Bulls Ace SE2AA's Best Pitcher
Thursday, August 18th, 2011: Andrés Rodríguez of the Durham Bulls is in the spotlight today. He was acclaimed the best pitcher in the SE2 Double A and will be honored with the 2011 Top Pitcher Award.
He started 19 games and compiled a 13-3 record with an ERA of 1.83 in 137.2 innings with 128 strikeouts.
